As an intern, you can also get a taste of our lawyers’ day-to-day work as part of our four-week GSK INSIGHT internship programme. Your personal mentors will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and show you the ins and outs of contract negotiations and court hearings. You will have the opportunity to network with our trainee lawyers, research assistants and your fellow interns at our regular “young talent” get-togethers and to get to know our lawyers in a relaxed atmosphere at firm-wide events.
Your profile
We are looking for highly talented individuals who want to forge their own path. Most importantly, you should fit in well with the team and win us over with your personality:
- You already have excellent initial legal qualifications
- Ideally, you have passed – and achieved good marks – in your first state examination.
- You are interested in economic and business-related topics and contexts
- Good English skills are a plus
Our four-week GSK INSIGHT internship programme is a crash course for law students looking to gain a comprehensive insight into the work of top lawyers at a leading corporate law firm in a short space of time.
At the beginning of the programme, a comprehensive introductory event will present all the important information to you about the firm and the programme. Throughout the programme, one or two associates will be assigned as your individual mentors and you can accompany them to appointments. A case study gives you the opportunity to practically apply your legal knowledge. You can also take part in our Early Nerd series, which includes interesting specialist lectures on various areas of law. We also offer a Legal English course to enhance your legal language skills. Social interaction? Get to know colleagues from different parts of our firm in a relaxed atmosphere at our after-work events.
Get ready to immerse yourself in the practice of law, benefit from internal training events and get to know your future colleagues.
GSK INSIGHT fulfils the requirements for the practical element of your course of studies (compulsory internship).

GSK Stockmann offers you the opportunity to complete your legal traineeship as a law placement or elective placement and gain much more than just practical experience. We actively support you through this formative phase of your training not only by offering you professional support, but also providing targeted help with exam preparation. You will also have the opportunity to make valuable connections and network within our firm. You will be fully integrated into the life of the firm and have the opportunity to participate in various events and programmes that promote your personal and professional development.

All the while, we make sure that your work relates back to your second state law examination and that you are as well prepared as possible for your exam through practical work.
