1. What is an absolute must to start your day?

To start the day off right, my son and a cup of coffee are essential.

2. What does a typical day at the office look like for you?

This question is not easy to answer. My typical daily tasks include acquiring new, self-managed mandates, handling negotiations with contract parties and clients, drafting and reviewing (joint venture) contracts, as well as the representation of clients, sometimes in court. However, there is no one typical workday, so it never gets boring. And that’s exactly what I always wished for!

3. What inspires you about your work?

I enjoy the variety and the direct interaction with our clients. Particularly in the case of long-time client relationships, it is really not hard to identify oneself with our work and our clients.

4. In order to be able to do your job, one should...

… have perseverance, but above all things you have to enjoy what we do.

5. How would you describe GSK Stockmann in three words?

Work, life (in) balance. Okay, those were four words, but I’ll just allow myself to do so.

6. What do you do to take your mind off the day-to-day at the office?

In my leisure time, my family and friends are very important to me. I also do a lot of sports; whether it’s hiking, mountain biking, cycling or skiing. I love different activities as long as they’re in the mountains.
